Dr. Anthony Fauci Sabotaging the Lab Leak Theory in 2022

by Richard A Reagan

Remember Dr. Anthony Fauci? The seemingly leading voice in the fight against COVID-19. Remember his dismissal of the lab leak theory in 2020?

Well, Congress and the White House received a classified intelligence report from the U.S. Energy Department. Exposing Fauci’s mistake back in 2020. The DOE states that the origin of COVID-19 is most likely a lab leak.

In light of this, Biden and the left were facing pressure to declassify the report to the public. Will we finally see if there was a coverup by Fauci? [Source]

Back in May 2020, Dr. Fauci was quick to judge the lab leak theory as a “circular argument”. Calling it “not helpful”. Stating the evidence was “very, very strongly leaning towards” the virus originating from an animal in a wet market in Wuhan, China. [Source]

This wasn’t Fauci’s only mistake when it came to investigating the origin of COVID-19. He was silent while the World Health Organization failed to probe the Wuhan lab(The Wuhan Institute of Virology).

Fauci didn’t mention anything about the WHO investigation team being led by Peter Daszak. A researcher that clearly had competing interests for the Wuhan Lab.

It was President Trump that exposed Daszak and his organization, the EcoHealth Alliance. A New York group that used U.S government money to fund research in the Wuhan Lab. [Source]

That’s not the only thing Fauci turned a blind eye to. How about the lack of transparency from the Chinese government? Why was Fauci quick to believe someone that is known for being uncooperative in sharing information?

The Wuhan Institute of Virology is known for their gain-of-function research on coronaviruses. The research involves manipulating the virus to make it more transmissible and deadly. This only adds to the credibility of the lab leak theory. [Source]

There were reports of the inadequate safety precautions at the WIV as well. All of this proves that Fauci’s call for the “circular argument” was premature. It’s clear that Fauci’s actions were hasty and ill-advised. [Source]

Republicans have long criticized Fauci for how he handled the pandemic. With the findings of the DOE, it’s time to examine what role Fauci played in spreading misinformation.

Fauci had a professional responsibility to explore all potential origins of the virus. Instead, he put his trust in the Chineses government and the WHO. Both of which had a vested interest in downplaying the lab leak theory.

The pandemic took a massive toll on our country. We owe it to ourselves to find out the truth. That’s why Republicans are demanding transparency. Sen. Josh Hawley and Sen. Mike Braun pushed a bill to declassify the report from the DOE.

The U.S. House of Representatives unanimously voted to pass the bill. The bill also passed the Senate with a unanimous vote. All that’s left is for President Joe Biden to sign it.

DOE’s report could reveal new insights into the inner workings of the Wuhan Institute of Virology. It will provide critical evidence to support the lab leak theory. It can also expose a coordinated effort to mislead the public about the origins of COVID-19.

Republicans believe that there is a possibility that the report might shed some light on Fauci’s missteps. We must demand from Biden to reveal any damning evidence against Fauci. Considering the devastating impact the pandemic had on our nation.

The lab leak theory is not just about assigning blame. We must understand the circumstances that allowed such a catastrophic event to unfold.

It’s time for the Biden administration to declassify the DOE’s report. Whether Fauci’s dismissal lab leak theory was based upon faulty information, or he was trying to cover-up something, we deserve the truth. The American people deserve the truth.

We must continue to question Fauci’s motives. The stakes are high. We must hold those responsible for the pandemic’s devastating impact accountable. The declassification of the report is a step towards achieving that.

We already know that Fauci’s dismissal of the lab leak theory in 2020 was a mistake. However, this still remains an important issue. Particularly in light of the declassification of the report. It is our duty to make sure that the individuals that represent us have our best interest at heart.
