Many of us have no problem stocking up on food, water, guns, ammo, tools, and other supplies to tide us over during a disaster situation or survival scenario. And while many of us may have bug out bags put together if we need to leave the house in a hurry, not too many people give thought to how they’re going to bug out or whether their bug out vehicle is prepared.
At the bare minimum, you’ll want to keep your car’s gas tank at least half full at all times. But is your sedan or SUV big enough to fit your entire family and enough supplies to keep you alive for days or even weeks? Is your car or truck able to drive off road in the event that roads become jammed, barricaded, or otherwise impassable?
