Trump Campaign Mocks Kamala Harris with Policy Website After Her Silence

by Richard A Reagan

Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign has yet to release a policy page outlining her positions on key issues, prompting the Trump campaign to create one for her.

After more than four weeks since Harris became the Democratic Party’s presumptive nominee, her website remains devoid of specific policy details, leading former President Donald Trump’s team to launch kamala2024policies.com.

The site, which went live during the Democratic National Convention (DNC), claims to represent Harris’s policies on topics like immigration, the economy, and healthcare.

The Trump campaign argues that Harris wants to “open the borders, raise taxes, and free criminals,” and criticizes her for supporting measures that they say have driven up inflation and gas prices while raising taxes on middle-income families.

The site details nine policy platforms, accusing Harris of extreme positions on issues such as border security, the Green New Deal, and healthcare, among others.

This move by the Trump campaign is an attempt to fill what they see as a significant gap in Harris’s campaign, as she has yet to provide voters with clear information on her policy agenda.

A spokesperson for Trump’s campaign stated, “Kamala Harris has yet to tell voters what her policies are, so we thought we’d help them out. Kamala Harris wants to open the borders, raise taxes, and free criminals.”

The website’s homepage starkly declares, “Kamala Harris’ dangerous policies are nothing to laugh about,” and accuses Harris of various extreme stances, including wanting to “abolish the border,” “eliminate private health insurance,” and “give illegal immigrants Social Security and Medicare.”

The site also attacks Harris’s record on the economy, linking her to high gas prices, inflation, and tax increases, particularly targeting middle-income families.

One of the more pointed criticisms is Harris’s role as a tie-breaking vote in the Senate for spending bills that the Trump campaign argues contributed to spiraling inflation. The site criticizes Harris for supporting the $1.9 trillion stimulus package, which some economists have blamed for triggering inflation.

The website also tackles other controversial issues, like Harris’s past support for criminal justice reforms, which the Trump campaign frames as efforts to “set murderers free” and “dismantle America’s border security.”

Additionally, the site accuses Harris of advocating for the Green New Deal and wanting to provide government benefits to illegal immigrants.

The timing of the website’s launch, during the DNC, adds to the pressure on Harris, who has yet to hold a formal press conference since becoming the Democratic nominee. Her campaign has instead focused on rallies and informal remarks, leaving some supporters and members of the media questioning her transparency and commitment to detailing her policy plans.

Harris accepted the Democratic nomination at the DNC’s conclusion. However, she relied more on jabs at Trump than her policies.

Trump’s campaign is making sure that voters are reminded of what they claim are Harris’s “dangerous” policies, even if her own campaign has yet to outline them.
